CCAC Devices

Already have VPN installed on them - Connecting to the VPN using GlobalProtect


Windows

  1. Go to: https://remote.ccac.edu
  2. Sign in with your CCAC Username and Password
  3. Authenticate using the Two-Factor Authentication (Duo Mobile)
  4. Choose your download installer
  5. Navigate through the installation wizard, clicking the Next button
  6. Click Close at the Installation Complete Screen
  7. Open the GlobalProtect software
  8. Enter the Portal address: remote.ccac.edu
  9. Click the Ok Button 
  10. CCAC’s Single Sign-On window will appear
  11. Enter CCAC Username and Password
  12. You will see a shield once the VPN is connected
 

Mac

  1. Go to: https://remote.ccac.edu
  2. Sign in with your CCAC Username and Password
  3. Authenticate using the Two-Factor Authentication (Duo Mobile)
  4. Choose your download installer
  5. Depending on the browser used, your download will file will appear
    1. If asked, click Allow to download
  6. Once the download complete, open the installer file
  7. At the GlobalProtect installation screen, click Continue
  8. Leave the Destination as your hard drive, and then click continue
  9. Check the box for GlobalProtect Install, then click Continue
  10. Click Install
  11. Once the software installs, click Close
  12. Go into System Preferences
  13. Under the Security and Privacy tab, click Allow
    1. You may not need to allow depending on your version of Mac OS or your security settings
  14. Navigate to Launchpad
  15. Locate the GlobalProtect Application
  16. You may be asked to enter the portal address: remote.ccac.edu
  17. Click Connect
  18. Sign on using your CCAC Username and Password and then click Sign In
  19. Once logged in, you will get a popup that you are connected
