Warning

Voicemail is on a unified system. If you listen/delete a voicemail it will be marked as read/deleted on all devices.

Once a user deletes a voicemail it will permanently delete automatically after 8 days.

Accessing a shared voicemail

You cannot access a shared voice mailbox unless you know the extension and pin.


On Campus

  1. Press the Messages Key
  2. You will be prompted to enter your PIN and then #
  3. Follow the voice prompts to listen and then handle each message
  4. Once you are finished checking voicemail, press the end call soft key, hang up the handset, or press the release key.

Off Campus

  1. Dial your 10 digit office number
  2. Press * when you hear your voicemail message begin to play
  3. Enter your 4 digit extension
  4. Enter your PIN
  5. You can now listen to your voicemail while off campus.
 

Through a Browser

Before you begin

You must be on campus or on VPN to listen to a voicemail through your browser.

  1. Open any web-browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox…ect.) and type in https://ccac.link/listen-to-voicemails-browser
  2. At the single sign-on page(SSO), type in your CCAC credentials
  3. Click Sign-In
  4. A screen with a list of voicemails will appear
    1. All unread voicemails will appear bolded
  5. Play the Voicemail by clicking on the play button
    1. You can also double-click the message to play it 
  6. You can reply, forward, or delete the message by clicking on the message. 
    1. If you delete from the self-service portal, if will also delete from your email, VOIP phone, and Jabber


Download and Save your Voicemail

  1. Open any web-browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox…ect.) and type in voicemail.ccac.edu
  2. At the single sign-on page(SSO), type in your Netid credentials
  3. Click Sign-In 
  4. A screen with a list of voicemails will appear
    1. All unread voicemails will appear bolded
  5. Click on the message
    1. Options will underneath the message 
  6. Right click on the message.wav link
  7. Select save link as…
  8. Name your voicemail, and navigate to where you want to save
    1. Make sure that the voicemail is saving as a WAVE audio file
  9. Click save
 

Through Email

When you receive a voicemail, you should also receive the voicemail in an email.


Webex

Warning

The voicemail is a unified system. If you delete a voicemail it will delete on your desk phone, email, and Webex voicemail. Once a user deletes a voicemail it will permanently delete automatically after 8 days.

  1. Click the voicemail button in the navigation menu
    1. A red circle with the number of unread voicemails will be located on the voicemail button
  2. Click the voicemail you want 
    1. A blue dot and a bold heading indicates an unread voicemail
  3. Click the blue play button
