What is a Banner Picture Tile?
What it is not
A banner picture tile is not a micro webpage or poster with all the information on the tile. It is also not for a specific event or have a specific date or time.
Making a Request to Banner Picture Tiles
There is a supportal form to request, change or remove a banner picture tile. Once you have submitted a request, a ticket number will be assigned, and the process for having a banner created and published will begin. You will receive emails for approval of the design.
Tile Limitations
- The tile carousel is limited to 4 rotating images
- Sort order is based on Oldest Requested (First Seen) to Newest Requested (Last Seen)
- There is no priority to tiles
- There is no way to schedule a tile to display at a certain time or stop displaying
Tile Information
- Displays on both Mobile App and Desktop Browser
- Displays for 5 seconds
- Able to be linked to a webpage or MyCCAC Hub page
- ADA compliant due to ALT Text
- When a new tile is requested, it will be last seen in the image carousel

- Words on a tile: 10
- Design style: Modern/Clean
- Icon Style: Flat/Filled or Outline
- Font style: Sans-serif
- CCAC Color Branded
- Contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1
Tile Design Layout & Design

Icon/Graphic
- Icon should represent what the tile is for. Icon should be simple, clean, flat or outline design.

Background
- Should not be overwhelming and allow for ADA complaint color contrast.

Call to Action/"Catch" Text
- A simple statement of text that gets the viewer to want to read/learn more.
- Font should be larger/different font style and more predominant.

Supplemental Text
- A few words that help get the information across but does not overwhelm the tile with information.
- Font should be smaller than the call-to-action text.
- Do not use the words "Learn More" use a more insightful phrase “Learn more about _____”

Other Information
- Due to the tile displaying on both mobile and desktop, refrain from words like “tap” or “click.” Use words such as “press”
