The Rave Guardian app is a safety feature for the upgraded CCAC Alerts. The app leverages mobile technology to provide new options for contacting the CCAC Security Team. It's available through the Apple App Store, or Google Play.

Android

  1. Search for app in Google Play and click Install
  2. Click Open to launch the app
  3. Enter your mobile number
  4. Press Continue
  5. You will receive a text with a verification code
  6. Enter the code, check the box to agree to the Terms and press Continue

    You must agree to the terms and conditions in this step.

  7. Select your campus location and press Save

  8. Press Yes to verify your identity

  9. The next 2 screens that come up are the Welcome to Guardian! and Get Started!, click OK, got it

    The first time you launch the app,

    you may be asked to allow "location services" and "send notifications".  The app relies heavily on these features, so we encourage you to enable them.

  10. Choose your option to allow Guardian app to access the device's location

  11. Select Yes to Receive alerts based on your location. 

  12. You are now ready to begin using the Rave Guardian app

iPhone

  1. Search for app in the Apple App Store and click GET

  2. Launch app
  3. Enter mobile number, press Continue
  4. Enter verification code sent in text message, agree to terms, press continue

  5. Select campus - press SAVE
  6. Verify information, press YES
    Delete

    The first time you launch the app,

  7. Select Yes for push notifications
  8. Press Share location
  9. Select OK got it, after welcome screen
  10. Access to app complete
