Away Message Template

I am currently out of the office but will respond when I return to the office on DAY, ##/##. For related requests/issues, please contact PERSON FIRST & LAST NAME, JOB TITLE, for assistance at (###) ###-#### or email them at username@ccac.edu.

 



Outlook

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click on File
  3. Click Info
  4. Click Automatic Replies
  5. Turn on Automatic Replies
  6. If you want, you can set a date and time for the away message to send
  7. Enter text that you want to send to people in the college
  8. Enter text that you want to send to people outside the college
  9. Click Ok button to save
 

Browser / OWA

  1. Go to https://outlook.office365.com/mail/
  2. Click on the Gear
  3. Scroll down and click Automatic replies
  4. Click to toggle Automatic replies on
  5. To set a specific time frame, click Send replies only during a time period
  6. Choose a Start and End time
  7. Click Block my calendar for this period and give a title to the event ensure no meetings are scheduled during your out-of-office time
  8. Scroll down and enter text that you want to send to people in the college
  9. Scroll down and enter text that you want to send to people outside the college
  10. Click the Save option
