How emails are structured:

Typically, First Name, then a period, then your Last Name. If your name is common, a digit will follow.

Your CCAC email address layout is:

NetIDusername@ccac.edu

Example:

Timmy Testing = timmy.test08@ccac.edu

How emails are structured:

Typically, your First Name's Initial, then Full Last Name. If your name is common, a digit will follow.

Your CCAC email address layout is:

NetIDusername@ccac.edu

Example: 

Timmy Testing = ttest01@ccac.edu


Email Password

Your email password will be the same as your CCAC NetID account password.  

 

How to Access Your Email

MyCCAC Hub/Mobile App

  1. If you are accessing the MyCCAC Hub from a web browser, go to my.ccac.edu
  2. If you are using the MyCCAC Hub mobile app, open the mobile app
  3. Locate the Email Icon and click on it
  4. Enter your CCAC email address
  5. Click the Next button
  6. Enter your CCAC NetID account password
  7. Click the Sign in button
  8. Verify your identity with the multi-factor authentication method
  9. Choose the best option that relates to the situation of the computer
  10. Select either No or Yes
  11. You will now see your CCAC email inbox
 
 

Outlook Mobile App

 
  1. After downloading and installing, launch the Outlook App
  2.  Choose Add Account
  3. Enter your CCAC Email Address
  4. Select Add Account 
  5. Enter your CCAC NetID account password
  6. Tap the Sign In button
  7. Verify your identity using the Multi-factor authentication method
  8. Outlook will load your Inbox
    1. If this is your first time using the app, you may be prompted for Outlook specific permissions.
 
 

Outlook Online

Safari Browser

Currently, there is an ongoing issue with Microsoft Outlook online and Safari browsers. Please use Microsoft Edge or Chrome Browser.

 
  1. In your browser go to https://outlook.com/ccac.edu
  2. Enter your CCAC email address
  3. Click the Next button
  4. Enter your CCAC NetID account password
  5. Click the Next button
  6. Verify your identity with the multi-factor authentication method
  7. Choose the best option that relates to the situation of the computer
  8. Select either No or Yes
  9. You will now see your CCAC email inbox
     
 
 

Outlook Desktop

Students

This feature is not supported for students. It is recommended to use the Outlook App or the Online option and create a shortcut on the desktop or favorite/bookmark the page in the web browser.

Employees

Access your email using either the classic or new Outlook desktop application.

Outlook (New)

  1. From your CCAC device, search for the Outlook app in the programs list
  2. Click Outlook to open
  3. Ensure your correct CCAC email address appears in the Suggested accounts drop-down
  4. Click Continue
  5. It may take a moment to set up
  6. Outlook will load your inbox
 
 

Outlook (Classic)

  1. From your CCAC device, search for the Outlook app in the programs list
  2. Click Outlook (classic) to open
  3. Enter your CCAC NetID password
  4. Click Sign in
  5. Verify your identity using the multi-factor authentication method
  6. Outlook will load your inbox
 
 
 
 

Other Mailbox Applications

CCAC only supports and recommends the Outlook app or using Outlook online. It does not support any other mailbox apps or applications.
