Note

In order to link Admissions documents from Colleague into Perceptive Content, you must do the following:

  • Have the appropriate Colleague record open using the Google Chrome browser
  • Have the Perceptive Content client open

  1. Double click on the Perceptive Content client icon
  2. Login using your CCAC NetID Username and Password
  3. The Perceptive Content client toolbar will appear. You can stop the Message Center from displaying by clicking on Settings > Show Message Center
  4. Click on Google Chrome browser icon and enter the following URL: colleague.ccac.edu
  5. Select the Production environment and click the Launch button
  6. Log into Colleague using your CCAC NetID Username and Password
  7. Based on how you link within a workflow in your department, bring up the appropriate screen you use to link documents into Perceptive Content and open the record.
For this example, we will use NAE to bring up the Person Test record. The record should be fully opened and the context card visible.
  8. Per your business process, click the workflow you want to link in (EX: Admissions > ADM - Doc Link) and then double click on the document you need to link to open it

  9. The document will open.  If the properties do not appear, click on View > Properties.  With the Colleague record open, choose the appropriate application plan (EX: ADM-Student) from the drop-down menu and click on the gold key to link the document.  You should now see the document keys being filled in with Colleague record information. You can now follow your normal process if the document needs a document type, custom properties, notes, routed forward, etc.  You can click on Save if you want to exit the document
  10. Once saved, the document will be entered into Perceptive Content and you can continue your normal document processing. You can begin using Perceptive Content Documents, Views and Workflows, etc.
  11. When linking is complete, you can log out of Colleague and disconnect from your Perceptive Content client by clicking on Connect and then Disconnect
  12. You can exit the application by clicking on the X
